Good food, great friends – thanks to each of you who could make it and to the many of you who were there in spirit.

It was such a special event – can’t wait until the next show! xo

Special thanks to my family for all your last-minute help and to my studio mates for all their help in making this happen – Annie and Tamie – you’re the best!  ❤

Introducing Muse Mini Sessions

Your feedback to the Muse Sessions (www.muse-sessions.com) has been amazing and heart-warming. It means so much to me that this concept connects to so many of you – the idea of taking our time together to a higher level and capturing images that tell a story and let YOU tell your story. I love it.

Our recent gallery show had a great turn out – I loved seeing each and every one of you there and appreciate that you came out for our Muses. ♥

I believe this is so important and such a soul-strengthening experience, I want to make Muse Sessions accessible to more people – everyone who loves this should be able to experience it. I’ve created a couple of options to make it easier to say ‘Heck ya, Katy-lady – sign me up!’

1. Payment Plans. Break up payments to work with your budget. Whether that means 2 – or more – payments, we will accommodate.

2. Mini Muse Sessions! These are slightly shorter Muse sessions and – while you’ll still get amazing attention and images – the goodies are trimmed down and your gallery show will be with more ladies. But perhaps these are perks for you?

These Mini Muse Sessions will run on a trial-basis through Summer and their availability will be limited to no more than 2 sessions/week. If I find they’re not a good fit, I’ll take ’em off the menu!  These would be a great idea for our high school ladies – you’re growing quickly and you’ll be off into the big ol’ world before we know it. These are also great for our sweet ‘Tweens – just blossoming out of childhood and finding your voices. These sessions strive to capture the moment now and tell a beautiful story that will be treasured by her – and her family – for a lifetime.

Sessions are booking now, starting in mid-July through late September.

When people go within to connect with themselves, they realize they are connected to the universe and they are connected to all living things. ~ Armand Dimele

There is a certain peace that occurs in the space where we’re left alone to think and dream and to just be.

And there is a certain magic that occurs when we come from that space of solitude and begin to intertwine creative energies to turn dreams into action and manifest a reality of beauty using the momentum that comes with accountability and seeing the light in another’s eyes.

To dream is beautiful – to bring that dream into reality is your choice… and, perhaps, your responsibility.

Welcome to Muse Sessions – Photography inspired by you.

Welcome to Muse Sessions. This is about you and what you bring to this lifetime. Your spark, your story, your truth. Images brought to life through inspiration and collaboration to achieve beauty and the experience of adventure.

To quote from Martha Graham – words to connect to all you creative souls out there:

“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open….”

What inspires you? What holds you back?
